Default great session today

One of my oldest friends is a Yoga instructor, and I do not utilize her enough. She always seems to have classes at odd times (she's low on the totem pole) and she's too soft for me. But she is at a new studio and I wanted to check it out. Well, she didn't show up, which worked out in my favor as the owner taught. What a huge difference!

If I thought I was doing the poses before, I was wrong. My friend Anne is too kind. Dale got my down Dog into shape, and there was no way I was doing a dolphin before, because today it just wasnt happening. we worked a lot on hips which was awesome because I had tightened up after the marathon. And he did salutations that broke us a sweat.

Then in meditations afterward, he readjusted my rib cage, and that was it for me, I disappeared for a few minutes. I haven't done that in a while. I love days like this.

you better believe it. I needed to do something. I really am going to have to take a week or two from running. I am just pushing it too hard, and overtraining.

Its nice to see that as a guy trying yoga you found it to be beneficial and you were not pushed away by it.

glad to hear that you had a good experience. dont be afraid to tell your friend to be honest with you and correct your positions. hopefully the yoga will even help out your running!

as much as he seems to like it, i still can't get over the macho thing and get myself to try it.:az i'll stick to


but as for OP, i am glad you liked it tho. LOVE how good you feel after a great workout - just leaves you on a high for the rest of the day...

There is a yoga place next to my business. I'm telling you 90% of the girls that come out of there are very pretty, and 90% of the guys are ripped.

Seems like a good thing to me, haha.

have you had a session since the one you posted about?

i agree, yoga is the latest wave in fitness and i am noticing more and more already fit people checking it out. have you? if so, what do you think?

I always figure, if you want the body that someone has, do what they do. I would rather have a gymnasts body than a football players.

I went back last tuesday, but skipped this past tuesday.

I'd like to. It combines strength with flexibility and aerobics. what's not to like?
