The way i look at things like this is that it's pretty much empty calories.

I would look at the nutrition on the back of the granola bar, as granola is pretty heavy in calories. Maybe switch to an oatmeal. Def cut out the chips if you can. What kind of cereal are you eating.

Try to cut our as much processed foods as your can't and stuff that is packed with sugar.

here is how i see it
take your current wieght and multiply it by 16, thats how many calories i eat in a given day..i weight 160 so its roughly 2500-2600...and especially if you run alot, your body will be able to take in a lot more and you can still be set off. but as far as you gaining a sixpack, i say do abs everyday you run, abs are one of the muscles you can workout everyday and still see improvements.
