Unhappy Slowin Down Progress....

So I am getting very frustrated. I have lost 45 lbs and was used to losing 2-5 lbs a week, now it has slowed down to 1 lb or less that that, I am frustrated because I still have 20 lbs I still wanna get off and that is just super slow, so anyone have any ideas to speed up the process!?!:sha

It's rare someone will drop that much weight consistently. Post more about what you are doing (diet, exercise, etc) and perhaps we can give better input. You've lost a lot of weight fairly quickly, your body needs to catch up with you.

As far as diet and exercise, I am currently seeing a personal trainer 2 days a week, also getting in Cardio 3-4 days a week. For diet I have been on weight watchers, it is great, I'm eating tons of fruits and veggies, whole grains, and lots of protien! Its working out wonderful for me, I have just hit a couple weeks that I have slowed down my progress and its kinda getting me down :(

Are you eating the same amount of food that you were eating before. Weight waters is a great way to start but in the end weight waters might not be the best solution for someone who is serious about getting fit mostly due to the fact that they assign point values to food.

It would be best to look at the post I made called macro nutrient, you might need to change around your intake and even up your caloric intake.

Also what have you been seeing in regards to weight loss every 2 weeks.

Yes, I have changed my intake, When you start losing the weight, your points that you get for the day continue to go down. So I am eating a lot less than what I was at the begining of my diet. They do reduce your points as your weight drops. As far as the wieght I have lost in the last two weeks, I lost 1.4 lbs 2 weeks ago and 2.3 lbs this week. I know that its still a healthy weight drop, I just was used to always losing 3-5 lbs a week.

Actually I was saying maybe your caloric intake should be increase when you look at your lean mass to body fat ratio. The more lean mass you have the more nutrients you need to support your progress.
