good luck in med school.
If you can lift on the weekends, I'd say divvy up the body push/pull and alternate. Meaning, do bench press overhead press leg press on sat, and lat pulldowns, rows, and leg curls on sunday. then in between do a morning ritual of situps and push ups around daily. or some such.

Body weight exercises might be the best bet for you along with some heavier weights then what you've been using. So instead of doing your usual high reps do low reps with heavier weight. Also reduce your rest time, if you have to rest look into doing an active rest.
