Well she said that not it will litterally turn into muscle but that since my im not giagantic or obese I would just be trading pounds for muscle instead of losing weight

Congratulations.. I used to be a member at one of those.. Except I only used it for racquetball and very occasional weights.

The Dietician said not to do weight training until im at my goal weight or atleast 10 lbs away from goal. she said that I need to stick to pure cardio. Im sill gonna do sit ups and stuff but no heavy weights. Im still gonna work out my arms too though.

I agree with Josh, I am in a we as to why the wouldn't want you weight training? It must be strictly a measure of weight loss and not a measure of the change in your body composition.

Ya I go to a gym too. I will be documenting my beginning measurements and weight loss. im totally fine without weight trainning cause i don't care about muscle my legs are pure muscle and those are the only things i care about having muscle in. so my elipticals should help.

Well with the increase in lean body mass your metabolism actually increases. The increase in metabolism will allow your body to process calories faster and more efficiently. This in turn will actually speed up your weight loss faster in regards to a decrease in fatty mass or adipose tissue.

Does your gym have the free motion machines? If so I recommend using these as an alternative to free weights.
