acrylic nails and lifting

so i find it hard to even type with my acrylic nails, and doing weight training with 3 lbs (not so much 5, 8 and 10lbs) it feels "awakward"...do any other ladies have this problem? maybe I am just clenching the 3lb too hard? suggestions (besides get the nails off)?

I am not a woman but when my nails get too long they definitely bug me when grabbing/lifting the weight ..

well i would suggest just getting the french manicure or positioning your hand in different ways until you find which doesnt bother you.

i know what you mean...thats why i get french manicures because it can really hurt!

I don't have that problem. What exercises are you doing that get in the way.

usually its just a bit painful when you have to grip weights because the acrylic tips might dig into your hand.

yea thats what it feels like. but i have small hands so it only hurts when i use the smaller weights but the 8 and 10 are ok because my grip doesnt bother me. i love the way they look so i guess ill just adjust my workout accordingly. :hearts

Haha, I would definitely trim my nails then. Whenever I grip my palm and my nails leave marks, it's time for them to go.
