I use to do this its great especially if your in a time crunch. Not only does it save time but you know exactly what you will be eating and how much food you have left for the day. This by itself will prevent excess caloric intake and snacking on poor choice foods with no nutrition value. I also think it makes food cheaper since you can buy in bulk.

It really will depending on what your cooking you might want to make fresh rice the night before for the next day or something like that. Food for a week depending on what it is might not be the best course of action maybe set two days a week in which you prepare food.

Ya like wheat rice/boiled eggs for like 2 days and chicken will last a good week with no problems.

I think the trick with chicken breat is to get skinless and boneless cook it all cut it up and then freeze it. This way you just have to warm it up. I'm not a boiled egg fan myself. So I would say the egg went bad as soon as it was boiled. haha.

Marinate it, blot it dry and you can either roast or stir fry it. Also try getting some dark leafy greens and other veggies into your pre-packaged meals.
