Default A good Glutes weak point program.

So mama didn't give me a ghetto booty... What is a good weak point training to build up the gluteus muscles? I assume deep squats and lunges, but does anyone have any personal experience as it being a weak point and being able to change that? Thanks!

When you say weak point do you mean the weakest point in the range of motion? Or just what is a weak muscle that you have to train. I'm not a huge fan of deep lunges I personally feel that the chance of doing them wrong for individuals is to high and can lead to many bad things in the future.

I would stay away from single jointed exercises and look at multi joint exercise. I'm going to assume that this a new activity and this is what I would suggest sitting next to a bench and squatting and hovering right above the bench seat you can then hold a weight in your hands and do this as well. From there you can do lunges, and one leg on the back on the bench and perform a lung as well from this position. After you are done with these lunges you can do simple step ups and then move into a plyo jump.

Let me know if any of that sound familiar if you need I can google some images and show you. That is what I would work on for a couple of weeks do what you can do and don't push yourself.
