Is this where they advocate 300 reps. The thing I have with multiple reps is the same issue I have with police academies and also boot camp is they stress multiple and multiple reps until fatigue. While doing multiple reps over and over and over is not the best for the joints. However if one was to increase the reps and decrease the weight significantly I feel that a lot of impingement problems would decrease. While you would be able to not have any serious problems short term the long term effects of these types of exercises are well documented. Especially once your body fatigues and you result to poor body mechanics to complete the desires reps.

I had seen something similar to this on the Mens Health website. They do it a little different to what is shown here.

They are good exercises though, plus it's always good to change things up so you don't get bored with your fitness program.

I could use some idea, because i usually just pick a body part and do a bunch of stuff.

It might be anal, but an excell spreadsheet with the exercises the sets and weights, by day, that could be printed out might help.

(and possibly be published, wink wink)

Those of you who wish to create workouts should just get a copy of Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding by Arnold. It lists many exercises to target each muscle group. Then just decide which days you want to do which body parts and pick 2-3 exercises per muscle group.

They used to call them Burnouts in the old times LOL

We would hit a set all the way until exhustion on each body part with low weight or no weight in some cases.

We did those in my high school in off season football practices back in the 80's
