I should had mentioned that the cyto gainer contains via 1 srving: 54g protein, 75g carbs, 6g fat, 4g fiber, 860 calories. Nevertheless, shouldn't I be gaining something, even if only 1 pound per month, consuming this amount of calories per day ( about twelve thousand) and especially since I dont work and am not active much?

Other than the 3 60 minute workout sessions per week (mon, wed, fri), I mostly lounge around the house. I dont run around and hardly venture out my house. I've eliminated smoking, sex, and as much body movement as possible. I fear to burn any calories than I have to, increasing my calorie intake by 400 every 3 weeks that I see no weight gain.

i completely agree with soup, defintely add more protein to your diet. Egg whites, tofu, chicken, lean meat, fish, turkey and lean pork are good sources.

30 oz of chicken breast each day, 8 whole eggs, greens and lentils and u say that isnt enough. ! chicken breast is about 5oz....sometimes I substitute it for white turkey or 30 oz of cod and/or salmon. I will look into the other things u mentioned. TY.

I have no problem with my work out routine. Most all of the programs I researched specifically designed for true hardgainers all seemed to point to less work outs, short but very intense and utilize extremely heavy weight reaching positive failure in 5 reps. I'd like to mention that 2 other guys started doing this with me, the 2 guys got huge in 15 weeks....1 went to 165 from 118 and the other went to 235 from 189. Every 3 weeks, the exercises change so that I am cycling and not repetitive. I am not growing, but I certainly am alot in strength.

If you are consuming the above listed diet consistently, and not gaining, I'd see a doctor concerning hormonal issues.
