Default weight gainer?

i recently bought some ABB weight gainer from the gym i work and train at...the trainers there said it is great for people trying to put on a few pounds..im just worried that i will get fat..i am training harder than ever so i hope it works..

not a set amount, i try to take in 3000 a day ( thats including atleast 5 servings of 24g whey protein) so roughly 2500 normal food..i know i need to up it soon especially cause i do so much cardio

This is what I would do eat more regular food and stay away from the weight gainer especially if you have no idea how much your consuming.

+1. Place emphasis on your diet then add a protein shake or two. Don't rely on powders as a main source of protein and calories.

Yeah, when I first started the trek for gaining some weight.. I picked up the powder and was diggin the shakes all the time. Didn't even change my diet at all.. just added some good shakes to it.
:doh

Now I realize I also have to change around the foods Im eating and the amounts and such. Now that I've alterred that a bit, Im noticing some more differences.. :bigguns

so i decided against the ABB weight gainer and went with cytosport..has half the calories and same stuff in it..just half the calories of the ABB..im gonna start taking it on my upper body days, ill just keep the normal thing on my leg days..so ill post if it helps

i eat healthy...lots of lean meats with high proteins and good carbs from rice/wheat pasta..i eat lots of green veggies n fruits throughout the day and usually i take 100g of whey a day.

breakfast is typically a cup of oatmeal and some fruit along with 2 scoops of whey...lunch varies but its usually 20oz-30oz of chicken, cod, salmon, or pork..accompanied with wieght gainer and some veggies...dinner is usually same as lunch except minus the weight gainer..

yeah i usually bring some fruit (banana/apple) or a big salad for a snack..maybe some yogurt..or something with protein
