While I agree with Muscle Milk tasting good, I'd disagree on it being a "good" choice for a protein. Fat content is too high vs the other nutrients present, and the protein quality itself is fairly low I would think. The addition of glycocyamine is not the greatest either.
Way too many people are using protein with the belief that whey isolate from company A is equivalent to whey isolate from company B. This is far from the case. Low quality protein is a waste of time and money. Beverly International Muscle Provider, Ultra Size and Ultimate Muscle Protein are my top choices for protein supplementation. The flavors actually beat Muscle Milk in my opinion, the quality is top notch, and the nutrition profile is excellent. Few non-Beverly users believe it, but you can honestly feel a difference while using their supplements.

Other non-mainstream brands of interest are Anabolic Innovations and Black Star Labs. I can't personally vouch for quality, but I can vouch for their GREAT flavor. Plus, price is definitely good.

I use to put protein in my oatmeal in the morning. But now i mostly get my protein through my food. If i'm in a rush and i need a replacement i'll pick up a pure protein bar, mostly as a feeler since they are pretty much everywhere. Although this is a rare ocassion, i find it better than skipping a meal.

Guys, I have to chime in here.... at the sake of looking like a know it all. GNC proteins, all of them, for the price, are pretty darn close to being the lowest on the scale.
First of all, I have to say anyone who can ingest that stuff has my undying respect. I think I'd rather eat...... well, you get the point. If you are going to use GNC brand, make sure it's isolate, hydrolysate, or a blend with one of those 2 listed as the 1st ingredient. Josh, Pure Protein bars are suspect as well, if I am remembering correctly. I think one of the ingredients listed at the top of the list is hydrolyzed collagen. aka gelatin. Quite a few companies are passing this stuff off as a protein source. Heck, a major producer is putting out a fruit protein "shot" in a vial that is all collagen. Rip-off.
