Thanks for the comments. I find that having something to train for really motivates me. hitting the gym is one thing, but when i was in Karate, there was always a belt test or tournament. When I rode bicycle there was a century to ride. Now there are a few adventure runs this summer, but they are not as competitive for me. I am going to run Disney Marathon, but that isn't until January. With my wife away for the summer, I think a Marathon in August would hit the spot.
I didnt really choose marathons, but I need a crazy goal. next year probably will be an ultra. If I can find someone to help with swimming maybe a tri. also, I seem to have hit a plateau in my weight loss. The last thing I want to do is count calories, but I am not budging away from 198 |
