***I quit, I really should have aimed for the 2mi but I just quit. I wanted to quit around 1.2mi but i just said no and kept going. Then all of a sudden my little hand just hit the stop button on the tredmil and I whimped out***

dont get discouraged!!! we all have days like that. just keep running next time and you look like you are sticking with the whole running thing (i have been slacking on that)

good idea... i like the cardio log that josh made me. keep track of everything in one place with no need to search for stuff. plus i modified it to tell me how fast i was running on the track.

2/13/2007

no running but i did a lot of walking around campus (and shivering in the 15degree weather)...i am sick and have this horrible feeling in my throat, no voice, and slight runny nose.

wont be running for a few days. any suggestions?

rest, running would not be a good choice when your sick. Just like if you were sick you shouldn't get any massages.

i have a sinus and bronchial infection so i wont be working out anytime soon...

I came down with pneumonia so I really haven't done ANYTHING for a few weeks....but tomorrow I will be back at the gym. I wont be pusing myself so my goal is to jog a mile and see how that goes. Currently when I walk I end up coughing pretty badly so I'll be sure to keep the inhaler handy tomorrow.

How fast are you going? are you doing a warm-up. have you tried walking 1/2 mile, running 1/4, walking half? you might be able to better build distance that way, then work on connecting the runs.
