Injured my knee at school on Thursday afternoon. It sounds lame, but I injured it by standing up from a squat. I was in immense pain and could not straighten my knee, so I went to the ER. They gave me an X Ray, which came back normal, as well as a knee splint after having me straighten my knee.
I will be going to an ortho surgeon tomorrow to see what soft tissue is exactly damaged. I got off my crutches yesterday and have increased my ROM (range of motion) to about 90 degrees. I am also icing it 3x daily. I can put a little weight on it, but I can't bend and put any weight on it. I am currently wearing another more flexible brace. I still have a hard time driving, as I can't hold down the brake for extended periods of time, nor do I have the ability to press down on the brake hard if there was a need to.

update:
I drove for about 2 hours today. I was in a lot of pain when I came back home, but it was a huge improvement over Tuesday when I couldn't even drive 2 blocks.

Just got back from rehab. It was not fun at all, the nurse put me through a few excercises that were pretty painful :(. At the end of the session, I got anti-inflammatory medication trans-dermally right to the site of my knee. I would not have been able to drive unless they did that. I am supposed to do the excercises at home.
