Default shoulder and chest soreness

I have some chest/shoulder/elbow soreness tonight after driving my car a lot the past few days. I have experienced a lot of traffic, which = lots of shifting with a really stiff short shifter. I put some heat on my shoulder earlier, and now I am icing it, and it still hurts considerably.

Ibuprofin does not help me much, only in larger doses. Should I still take some?

thanks for the recommendations. I am stretching right now. Today, mostly my chest is sore, and I still have to drive this afternoon, in traffic.

I believe Ibprofin requires 1600 mg to become effective as an anti-inflam

was the soreness just from driving or have you been hitting the weights.

soreness is just from driving, not hitting the weights at all. I have been really busy with classes right now (I am planning a wedding reception for 100). Shoulder feels a little better today, as I have been stretching and icing it a lot.

Hope the bride isnt giving you trouble and you arent under a lot of stress/pressure...that will cause your muscles to be sore too so ending your night with some relaxing music, breathing, or bath can really ease your soreness. Take care of yourself.

I don't have to execute it, thank goodness. I do have to plan the reception (no entertainment, decorations, menu and the such). I am modeling it after what I would like at my own wedding

The menu is almost exactly what I would want for myself. Fall wedding, fall food theme and stuff.

The venue is not what I would choose, nor is the 10k budget. But it is such a pain in the ass to plan.
