Default Hip Pain

Ive been working out 5 days a week for the last 6 month, for the last 3 ive had an ache in the right hand side of my hip. Yesterday i felt it and can feel it clicking when i walk which really freaked me out. Any advice on what to do?

what kind of workouts? it might be time to take a day off. is it a tendon popping, or cartilage?

Defintely need a little more information about the pain. You may have torn a muscle, and now your hip is looser than it should be, or you could have torn a tendon, or cartiledge. Either way, I think you should see a doctor and rest.

Nah i dont do any running which is the wierd thing, i do 20 mins a day on the cross trainer and 20 mins on the bike. Aint got a clue whats popping but the popping is coming from the hip bone. Its not a severe pain but its an achey pain that is just worrying me. Think i may book an appointment at the doctors thx :)

if a bit of cartilage is floating free in the joint, a doctor might go in with a small needle and get it out. Make sure you get a good MRI done first. Some doctors really like to operate first.
