Default My confession

My confession is:

I drink slim fast...every week day....i really do not have time to get lunch because i use that time to study and get my nerd on so i drink a shake for lunch....my diet is much better on the weekends when not only am i forced to eat beacuse i eat with josh (my caloric intake goes up about 500 calories) but i have more time to eat and cook.

I felt guilty today buying a 30pk of slim fast...

I know slim fast isnt the BEST diet plan but I am doing it more so just to get some nutritional stuff in me instead of just drinking coffee or tea at starbucks (yes i spend an average of 8 hrs a week at starbucks)...

help?

what about trying to include a green leafy salad along with the slim fast? You can buy the pre-washed greens at the grocery store and include a vinegarette in a separate container and mix and eat. It won't suffer too much if you can't refridgerate it.

I used to drink slim-fast as well in college, because I barely had time to eat (for breakfast mostly). I remember being both wired and hungry after drinking one of those, I think that there wasn't enough protein to make me feel full.

What I started doing was eating a peanut butter or almond granola bar and having some a juice-box of soy milk and I started feeling more full.

the thing is, i feel full after drinking only half the can. i struggle to finish it so adding a salad would just be pushing it for me. ill try it tomorrow though.

hmmm. It had a completely different effect on me :dunno. Maybe try a PB+J sandwich on whole wheat bread + some soy milk or milk for lunch?

Do you cook dinner in the evenings? I always make 2 servings and take the second in my lunch the next day. Then all u need is a microwave! Grab an apple and some nuts for a quick snack on your way out the door. When i am super stressed i just grab a packet of instant oatmeal...you can always ask for a cup of hot water at starbucks!
