Default Looking to Hike in Las vegas

I live in Las Vegas and I am looking for people that love the outdoors to hike. Anyone that is interested in hiking with myself and whomever wishes to join us that day for the hike?

There are several great places to hike around here and I know a lot of them but not all.

I would be happy to share my places and even happier to learn more places.

(Maybe even set up a hiking club or whatever )

anyone interested?

Joe, When I head back to the west coast I'll go hiking with you. I like to shoot back over to the west coast at least 3 - 4 times per year. What are the good hiking spots. I'm in the process of looking to plan a hiking trip from maine into Canada.

Oh man, we have Red rock canyon, and valley of fire, both very excellent places to go hiking here. plus I am a short drive to Sedona Arizona, and to Brice Canyon Utah as well. many many GREAT outdoor spots here .

I always wanted to make it to Maine and hike there too.

I been all over the pacific forests from northern Cali, into Oregon and upper Washington State and even into BC but never been anywhere east other than the smokeys as a kid.

Yes it is a developmental league for people looking to go farther ( I use it for recreation as I am 40 yrs old now) but arena teams and Canadian teams look at our league and also other Semi Pro leagues around the country for recruits that for whatever reason ( financial, or grades or whatever other reason they did not go the college route) In fact an arena team from billings montana is doing a combine with our league in Oct this yr for tryouts.

The city of Las Vegas also Sanctions ours as well as something called the WWFL ( Wild West Football League)

One of our competitor leagues is owned by Terrell Owens and Patty Labelle the singer actually , They are out of LA .

There are many leagues around the country. A national ranking system etc....

Sounds like a great time. I'm trying to find a rugby league out here if I have time.
