Default My Recent Diet Challenge

Two weeks eating nothing but water, white rice and boiled chicken. This isn't so much for any health benefits, more to test myself, if that makes any sense.

I feel awesome, though, and I really love rice, chicken and water, so it's not hard at all.

If I decide to go longer than two weeks, I'll add some greens (veggies) and some fresh fruit, maybe.

honestly I love chicken and rice. I would do the same chicken rice, and steam some carrots and broc and put that in a bowl for either lunch of dinner. If I had that for a meal I would cut up some chicken breast and cook it on the grill then toss it into a pan with onions and bell peppers. Take that throw it ontop of a nice green leafy salad with no dressing.

I love chicken.

Is white rice bad for you? Someone told me it was, but that doesn't make any sense to me. I'm sure it's got plenty of carbs, but I need them, so I don't mind that. Am I missing something?

You know i swear by white rice. Others might suggest brown rice but rice in generalis healthy. If your an active individuals which you are you can pretty much eat how ever much carbs you want. Especially being a cyclist.

Yeah, I could never imagine limiting my carbs. I find it funny that people think carbs=unhealthy.

i think your diet sounds awesome. i LOVE chicken and white rice is a close second. adding veggies is also a great way to give color to your meal so it looks more appealing to eat.

Are you taking a multivitamin at the same time? You are missing out on essential nutrients by limiting your diet to a few things. I would add some veggies in there, for sure.
