Default Detox Help

Are there any detox suggestions. I once did a detox drink that I found on Mens Health that tasted like crap but made me feel cleansed. It had clove ,lemon peel and other stuff. Let me know what you guys think! Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a detox for a drug test?

i think detox for like general health. i read in a magazine that doing a detox once every few months is supposed to be really good for you...i dont remember what drinks they suggested so i am really no help.

For General health. I had an article from mens health that listed all of the key items that went into the drink. Some of the things were Clove, Lemon Peel, Garlic and I can't remember the rest. I have been eating really bad the past few months so I want to get a fresh start before I hit a hard workout for the next few months.

I see what you mean, I'm not very familiar with detox kits but i can tell you this. Colon cancer is higher in individuals who do not exercise then those who do. The reason is the stuff that is in your system stays there longer in those who do not exercise.

Not really a kit, was just a bunch of different things that were good for detoxing your body. It tasted like crap and gave me some nasty burps but it worked!!

What do you suggest than? I know water is the key, but what will get rid of all of the crap in my system? I want to start fresh on Monday and continue a healthy lifestyle from here on out!!

Unless you have liver or kidney disease, I suspect these organs are enough detoxification for the average person.

I have also been looking into detox and colon cleansing lately. I have seen pictures of so-called "mucoid plaque" being expelled from bodies that go through a colon cleanse using psyllium husk.

Psyllium turns into a gel-like substance in the body as it passes through the intestines, and I suspect that the "mucoid plaque" that is being passed is just the psyllium gelatinous mass being expelled through the body.

I have taken the psyllium husks colon cleansing. I like it because it has helped me with gas. That is the only one I have tried so far but I do want to try some others.

I have tried the colon cleanser. It is called Health Plus. You can get it at the health food store.
