Default Make your own healthy chips

2 cups water
4 (6 inch) corn tortillas
Pour water into a shallow baking dish. Quickly dip tortillas into water, drain and cut into 8 wedges. Add salt or other seasonings (cumin, Italian seasoning, etc.) and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until chips are crispy and lightly browned. Remove and let chips cool. Serve with salsa or homemade bean dip.

Very tastey. I tried this recipie earlier today. I'm going to try it again but substitute the corn chips with a pita/flat bread/130 calories and sprinkle a little diced garlic and spices.

Yummy yummy! OMGosh these were phenominal imo!
Question. I sprayed alittle olive oil on the chips/pita and my question is...
I looked up the nutritional value on extra virgin olive oil and boy is it high in fat and calories, but... is this good fat as opposed to bad fat? Or is fat just fat? I quess my question is will going over my calorie allowance of 1550 due to olive oil hinder my progress and weight loss goals?
Thanks!

transfat is worse, all in all you really have to look at caloies in vs calories out. Though olive oil would be better than a lot of other oils.
