Default on the go stuff...

hey guys, haven't been here in quite a while. once again, i have let my diet and exercise go due to an extreme lack of time. i now work 50+ hours a week at a bar and go to school full time, leaving me with next to no time for sleep, let alone anything else. i go 7 days a week now and sleep 5 hours a day average, MAX. my diet lately has consisted of pizza and ice cream with maybe a burger thrown in here or there.

i got to the point where i can feel my lack of fitness and how bad my diet is for my body, so it's time to change it up again. i went shopping today and picked up a few things of bananas, a bag of apples, some boneless skinless chicken breasts, gatorade, and a shit ton of water (per usual). the only good thing that i have been doing lately is staying away from pop. thank god i quit 9 months ago.

so now that i have a decent start to some snack food and a few filler meals (the chicken), what else can i get that's very easy to make. i make all my own food so i don't want anything that takes a lot of work. if it takes over 5-10 minutes to prepare, i won't make it.

so people of epoc, guru's and apprentices alike, what suggestions have you?

P.S. the cheaper the better since i buy all my own stuff.

ground turkey w/ taco seasoning...you can make it ahead of time, and use it to make a taco salad w/ tomatoes and veggies and low fat cheese or you can wrap it up in a wheat tortilla w/ some salsa...super easy to make, no mess clean up and you can eat it a couple different ways...so you don't get sick of eating the same thing all the time.

yay! u guys liked the turkey tacos...the other quick meal/lunch i like is a tuna melt...tuna w/ low fat miracle whip...barely a tbsp...put it in a wheat pocket pita w/ tomato, low fat sprinkle cheese, and sprouts and just heat on the george foreman for a few minutes...that's a good one too...if you like tuna. lol.
