Default Cheap & Easy Breakfast ideas

So I generally don't eat breakfast unless I pick something up on the way to work, or I eat cereal at home before I leave.

What are some good healthy easy ideas for a solid breakfast at work? Oatmeal w/ banana's or something or what?

Like I said, just want something cheap and easy.

Thanks!

Yeah, the few times of the week I might get time for breakfast, it's usually a bowl of cereal or oatmeal. I dont know how good it is for you, but the oatmeal is decent, and it's pretty cheap.

I guess something in the morning is better than nothing, right?

I would also like to see what others suggest for good breakfast ideas.

I've been eating a slightly modified Bellavus recipe this week with good results.

Boil 1 cup of water or Chicken broth
Add 1 cup Cous Cous
Stir, take off heat, cover for 5 minutes
1/2 cup chopped fresh cherries
1/2 cup almonds

Stir it up and divide it into two Tupperware containers, put in fridge.

I'm a shower and run out the door kinda of person, so, I now I shower, grab a Tupperware of the above mix out of the fridge (banana optional) and eat that with a large glass of water at my desk.

About an hour later I go get a grande Americano.

Prepackaging food is the best way for people on the go. I do the same thing but with chicken and rice maybe I will try that with cous cous.

1 Whole Egg
2 Egg Whites
1-2 Oz Turkey
Little bit of cheese, salsa, green onions, and green peppers.

I'm generally running behind in the morning, so any attempt at an organized breakfast will eventually fail. I've resorted to the Myoplex shakes (prepackaged, ready to drink). Grab it and go!

If I've got time...it's going to be an omelet...

Start your day with a healthy breakfast. Never even think to skip your breakfast.

Choose your breakfast recipes such that they focus on a blend of protein and carbohydrates. Hearty carbohydrates will give that boost of energy to jumpstart your day. A mix of protein will be the staying power to keep your body going strong over the next three to four hours until lunch.

According to many sports nutritionist, it is advisable to choose wholesome cereals that are iron-enriched, not loaded with sugar, and have high-fiber bran content. Cereal (whole wheat bread) is not only a traditional way to go at breakfast but also may be one of the quickest and versatile meals for the morning time rush. The best option for breakfast foods is milk and cereal, as this is a perfect way to combine protein and carbohydrates.

make a protein shake, takes like 5 minutes tops. Grab a blender, throw in some skim milk/water, a scoop of protein, and maybe a banana. I did this for a while on my cut. Gives you some carbs to get the day going and some protein to get into your system since you are catabolic from your night of sleep. Its nice and quick, I would do this before I jumped in the shower and just drink it while I get ready for work.
