Default snacking healthy...

ok, ive heard from many many people that instead of eating the normal three meals a day, i should eat about 6. well, my day doesnt exactly allow me to fit this into my schedule, so this is what ive come up with. ill have my three meals a day which looks about like this: breakfast is oatmeal, lunch is usually a trip to a restaurant somewhere around my college at which i usually try to order the healthiest things the one we are at offers, and my supper is usually a salad sometimes with a chicken salad sandwich or turkey and swiss sandwich (always wheat bread)

as far as the 'other three meals' i usually try to throw in an apple, an orange, a hand full of nuts, box of raisins or other stuff like that in between breakfast and lunch, lunch and supper, and a small something after my supper.

does this seem ok to you guys?

Do the easy stuff first. For instance, I quit Coca-Cola. Done. Chips? Done. Fries? Nope.

Salads and chicken salad and tuna salad often have dressing or use mayonnaise.

With the turkey and swiss, see if you can tolerate just mustard, instead of mustard and mayo.

I'm just figuring this out at well, clif bars, nuts, raisins, bananas, etc. But none of this stuff is "filling" in a traditional sense, so, yea, it's like you eat a little something every 90 minutes or so.

It doesn't have to be 6 meals. Instead split up portions into 6 different times a day.

i use VERY little; if any, salad dressing, no condiments on my sammiches just turkey swiss and wheat bread. chicken salad prolly isnt as good for me, but thats just a MAYBE once a week thing. its usually just a salad by itself.

i dont eat that often...i have a pretty strong will power. i dropped cokes, and chips and such cold turkey. i havent had a carbonated beverage in 2 1/2 months...but i WILL NOT drop my beloved sweet tea, its against my heritage.

Yeah, I just found some good NY pizza near my work, no way am I giving that up... I just can't do it 5 days a week anymore...

They say breakfast is the most important since it gets the metabolic clock in gear...

If you lost 11 pounds in 2 weeks, I'd have to give it the thumbs up!

I tracked down a deep fried twinkle once at a fair I was really disappointed. I'll have to admit I would love to try a deep fryed snickers.
