Default Newbie saying hello!

Hi everyone - just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I found out about Epoc Fitness through TDF & bf.c and wanted to learn more about getting fit.

I'm 28yo and used to work out religiously in college, but haven't been able to be as active as I'd like to be over the last couple of years.

I'm really hoping to learn about adding a little bit of mass and toning that up, in addition to maintaining a healthy diet (because of work, I eat out a lot). I'm looking forward to reading everyone's advice and searching the archives here.

If anyone's in NE Florida, let me know.

Welcome to the forum, what type of work do you do. Eating healthy at work can seem next to impossible but planning is the key. If their are some real restrictions as not having access to a fridge or other stuff let us know it can be simple or complex. I actually found college to be the hardest time to workout and before and after college the easiest, but it really depends on how you manage your time. Thanks for the introduction, you've always really joined at an intresting time as we're planning to roll out some mind blowing features in the next couple of months once we find a programmer who would be willing to work with us.

Hey - thanks for the warm welcome Josh. I'm a CPA on the audit side and spend nearly 90% of my time in my clients' conference rooms. I'm actually hoping to transition into more of a tax senior position soon, so I may be back at my own office, but most of the people in that department eat out daily. I'll need to interact with them as much as possible through the "new job meet&greet phase" that everyone has to go through.

My basic issue is that I'd like to get slightly bigger so I can tone up. I'm 5'8" and weigh 144lbs and there's not a whole lot of anything happening. I've recently been going to the local gym early in the mornings and working with free weights 2x per week and doing cardio type stuff 2x per week.

Is it a lot of going out to eat or ordering in, going out to eat can often be more difficult than when individuals and teams order food for delivery. This is just a quick suggest is see if you could order a half portion of whatever you get or if your comfortable enough you could also see if they could just bring out half of your order now and box the other half for you.

It's actually a lot of eating out and ordering in, and though none of it is the traditional fast food (Wendy's, McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc), eating out daily can't be good for me.
