well..lets see here...i'm a 25f from Pittsburgh, PA pretty much new to the forum world...haha...not so new to the fitness world, but lately have fallen off track and trying to get back on...i'm 5'2, 115lbs, but since i'm shorter than the average..lol..sometimes i feel as if i'm carrying too much soft weight, so my goal is to tone up, especially in the tummy and arm areas. i've been browsing the forums and this just seems like the perfect place to interact w/ other interested in the same fitness things as i am! :bdance

This would be a great place to start since we're a general fitness community and a couple of have a nice specitality in certain areas.

dont worry, a lot of us here are under 5'3''. I definately can relate to your worry about being smaller and not wanting to carry too much weight.

i hope you start posting more because itll be great to have another female's input in this forum :wave

Welcome (a while back).

How has it been going since you started here? Any updates? Getting any closer to your goals?

awww thanks for the late welcome! in all honesty, i wasn't around here for a while, so i'll take ur "welcome" as a "welcome back"...hehe. well update wise, i'm only at 113 lbs, but clothes are defintately fitting me differently, went from a size 4 to a 2...i made tons of dietary changes...YAY! now i just need to get down and dirty and get all toned up...i'm not a morning person..so i HATE HATE HATE getting up early to go to the gym and work takes up my evenings/nights...but i have to start bc if i don't i'm gonna just be stuck...haha...why is it that it's so hard to do what we know we need to do? i need a push...or better yet, i need someone to drag me out of bed in the am. lol.

Congrats on the changes. Have you started a photo journal yet?

Nice! Congrats on the new fit of clothes.. that's always fun. I hear you on the getting up in the morning. I absolutely love early mornings after I get up, but it's that initial nice and warm cozy bed that is tough to get out of. All you have to do is start though. It's in your head. Once you throw the covers off of you and get out of bed.. you'll hate it at first, but you can push on and you'll be okay once you get moving. You can do it.

And +1 to Josh's comment. It really does help when toning. I look back at my photos of 2005 and stuff (way back before I started working out), and then I look at now that I have been working out.. and I definitely can see different muscle definition. Anyway, good job. Keep going.
