![]() Are you currently doing any exercising or any workout routines? Another question is Im sure people will want to know what kind of diet you have. What foods are you mainly consuming? Anyways. Im sure we can help ya out. Oh and I hope you are doing this for yourself too. Exercise needs to be somewhat fun for you or it will be a hard thing to keep up on. If you are being forced into this.. it might make it a little harder.. No worries though.

Hi Rakel, Welcome. I always get concerned about size zero. Maybe i am just sensitive because there is a nationally renowned eating disorder clinic here in Tampa, and a lot of the participants end up in my social circles. I also watched my mom go through an eating disorder.
So, Since we don't know how tall you are, your age, or your body composition, it would be impossible to comment on your goal. What I am tryting to say is if you are 19 and your body has matured its different than if you are 5'!" and you have 10 pounds to lose. Welcome, why not share a bit more about yourself?

Welcome to the forum, another thing I noticed over the past couple years is clothing companies are starting to make sizes bigger so they can lower the size number. Have you ever noticed the difference in the way womens pants and sized compared to mens? Anyways welcome to the forum.

trust me, size 0 isn't really that bad for my body composition..i weigh somewhere between 110-112...but for 5 feet...id like to get down to 100...i had knee surgery last summer and woking out has been a bitch for me, seeing as how i spent almost a year in pt before and after my surgery....i also want to eat better...i mean i love salad and stuff...but i dont eat that healthy and i need to correct that. im focusing on eating healthy, but i kinda want to execise as well (i said exercise...not workout).....ps...this is Rakel...I guess I accidently got on my boyfriends name

see look at that 5' and ten pounds to lose. I must be psychic. cool. my administrator was talking yesterday about how she used to be a size 00 and now shes a two and how horrible she felt. i thought she looked pretty good for having a one year old.
champ better be careful about leaving his account signed in, you could really get him good. so what kind of "exercise" do you enjoy?

welcome to eff.
first of all, i think working out and trying to loose weight is something you should do for yourself and not because you want to fit in at work. second, is there a reason why you would rather eat healthier than working out? it sounds like you may be afraid to after your injury...which is 100% understandable. the first thing that is the easiest to change is your diet. my advice is to start a food journal for a week, post it up here, and we can help you out. also knowing what your limitations are exercise wise would also help us help you get back on track.

Today was a low...i didnt really stick to any type of healthy food....:( i went to a cookout...soo yea....when i say exercise i like to walk at a pretty good pace....i loooove dancing...in fact, i am taking a hip hop class this fall at school so that will be good exercise early in the morning. I am looking forward to that. i am going to try to stick to a food journal and eat better...tomorrow i am planning on having a chicken salad for lunch and a very very light dinner....and no, i dont eat breakfast..and dont tell me it burns more calories during the day or something, i dont care...it makes me sick to my stomach to eat early in the day. i want to lose weight without vomiting thank you very much lol
ps...i think other people have noticed i have packed on weight...they made comments and i think im determined now more than ever to lose the pounds. |
