You can increase the reps of the excercises that you were doing in PT. They can't hurt.

Basically the extent of what i was doing in pt was quad strenthening...my surgeon told me i had a rare "complication" (less than 5% of people get this after the surgery i had) where my quad muscle completely and i mean completely deteriorated....so my main focus was to get my quad firing up any type of muscle. also, i had a lot of scar tissue build up in my knee so i had my knee manipulated in order to get range of motion back....sooo as far as things that i did in PT may not be as useful now for stiffness. it seems like from what i can detect, is joint stiffness and that could be just from the cartilege....im not sure there really is much to do for it but ice it and take aspirin for the swelling, which is minimal.

I have incorporated self-massage with Tiger Balm on my knee to help with stiffness.

i hate breakfast food as well, it literally makes me want to vomit.

but i learned to love bagles and coffee. for me a bagle with peanut butter and a cup of coffee is perfect.

keep up with the changes in your diet. cutting out simple things like salad dressing also helps a lot too. you can add some flavor with lime or lemon juice without all the calories.
