Default Hey hotties!

I'm Sarah, and my friends Cindy and Josh referred me here to check it out!

I'm about 5'8'', a size 8, and I'd love to drop some weight and tone, specifically, the backs of my arms, my abs and my stomach. My legs are my favorite part of my body; I waterski so they're toned enough for me!

I'm a really busy girl and while I don't eat really UNHEALTHY, I don't eat healthy much either. My usual lunch consists of Panera Bread or something similar. I'm pretty much wanting to get down to about 120 pounds, so I need to lose about 15. I'm busy and on the go a lot, so I need to pick ONE excercise regiment and stick with it (mornings or evenings are my only free time), and I need to kind of figure out what to eat, and if just changing my diet will help me drop those pounds (I kind of love coca-cola and candy...)-- I can take care of toning by waterskiing and pilates, I think.

Anyway, point me in the right direction, guys, and thanks for listening to me ramble!

You really need to track what all you eat to start out. My girlfriend says she doesn't eat that unhealthy but I want to the store with her last night; she got about 3 bags of potato chips, a few 12 packs of pop, some bread, and a small pack of turkey all to eat during the day while her parents are at work. Whereas she might not even consider everything she's getting and taking a good look at it. I'll do the same thing, you just don't think about your diet during the day.

But anyway, welcome to the forum. Usually we're pretty helpful.

welcome! What exactly are you ordering at panera bread? A lot of their selections are calorie-dense (I think one of the sandwiches tops out at 1000 calories!)

Give us a play by play of exactly what you are eating, and we can take a look at it and suggest what would be better.

I agree with kate start tracking what you're doing. There are some awesome tools in the nav bar especially the weight loss tracker. It really is just a nice way to track what you've been eating. I would do this create a new thread with what you've been eating and we'll post up the calories for you. Give us about three days or normal eating.

Hey Sarah, welcome. My first suggestion would be to change those cokes for water. You knew that was coming right?

Good luck with your goals

Hey Sarah!! We can work on this whole shaping up thing together! LOL...

PS- Panera is sneaky... I ate there alot for lunch when I was working in Rockford, because I thought they had good stuff - however I was surprised to find out how calorie packed alot of the things on their menu are!! My suggestion? Rotate out that Panera with something lighter...

You could also make your own sandwhiched and pack them with tons of veggies and even grill the sandwhiches after your done. Thats what I do.
