Default Thomas's Goals

Well, I decided at my sons first birthday that I really needed to get back in shape. There were kids all over the place and I couldn't keep up. I felt so out of shape. The next day I signed myself up for a gym. That was about two months ago.

My goal is by his next birthday, to out run/out last all the kids. In addition, I started doing some MMA training. I am giving myself a year to get down to 175-185lbs, lean, in shape with plenty of cardio to back it up. I want to do a fight after my sons 2nd birthday.

I am giving myself a year because I have very little BJJ training and a lot of work to do on myself.

At first I though you meant you wanted to get in a fight at your sons birthday but after rereading it i realized that is not what you meant. . Where are you now weight wise? Have you signed up for the weight loss tracker yet? Its a great way to track your caloric intake even if your not trying to lose weight. You'll need to register for that but use your same name and password as you do on the forum, yes it's another reg form but it only ask for 2 things name and password. It doesn't run on the same database. I think you have yourself some good goals though, you should look into breaking your one big goal into a couple mini goals. :woo

I will sign up for the weight loss tracker so I can track my intake. Right now I think my weak point is still parts of my diet actually. But I am working on it.

As for my MMA training, right now I do two days a week of kickboxing, two days a week of brazilian jiu jitsu and one day of boxing. Those are all two hours long and pretty physical. In the mornings I do cardio before work, I either run or ride for an hour. I also do weight training sometimes before and sometimes after my training.

I do have the bas rutten dvd's a buddy gave them to me. I haven't watched them yet though.
