Default Nicky's goals

I want to loose 10 lbs, bringing me to 125 lbs. I work out regularily and try to eat and cook healthy. I need to tighten up on my diet and increase my workout intensity.

So far i signed up for an on-line personal trainer who supplies me with weekly workouts and makes me report back to her about my progress so i can't slack . I have also been using the on-line weight-loss tracker on this site to monitor my diet. I will keep you posted!

I do legs on monday, power yoga on tuesday, chest and tris on wednesday, and back and bis on thursday. Each day i work out i do 20-40 min of cardio on either the elliptical, treadmill, and recently the step-mill. I would like to use the step mill more as it kicks my butt!

for the rest of the week i run, swim, or run some stairs on a local hiking trail. I also dance about 2 times a week.

I want to lose the weight ASAP...hahaha but in reality two months, that would be about 2 lbs/week which is pretty reasonable.

PS good luck at the tryouts!!!

my diet could definetly use a little work. I drink more than i should and when i get really busy near month-end i tend to eat out to much.

However i have been a lot more concious of what i am eating since starting to use the weight loss tracker- i am a huge fan!

Most of the time i cook for myself, and when i do i cook with only whole grains, a little olive oil, lean cuts of meat and lots of veggies. I would say i have a good foundation for a diet it just needs to be tweaked a bit.

do you make a schedule/plan out what you will eat in advance? this can help when you get busy later on in the month because you will be in a routine of just planning it out and sticking to it.

I really agree planning out your meal for one week in advance is very helpful this way you don't have the time to ponder what your going to be doing. Also pick a certain day that you will plan for the next week.

if your looking to drop weight, i say increase the speed and intensity of your cardio workouts, burns fat away like nothing, and from your diet i can tell that will be no problem at all.
