Going to the Grand Canyon with the bf in about a month, and we're going to hike while we're there. I think we're going to do a 6 mile hike (we'll see how we feel), and I started training to get ready for the vacation.
I joined the gym right by work, and I'm working out 5 days a week (resting on the weekend, mostly). Here's what my workout looks like: Monday-cardio day, 45 minute interval training on elliptical Tuesday- 20 minutes cardio, bike, lifting chest, back, hamstrings, quads Wednesday- cardio, 45 minute interval training on treadmill Thursday-20 minutes cardio, elliptical, lifting biceps, triceps, glutes, calves Friday-45 minutes interval training bike, then treadmill. Anything else I should be doing to prep for this hike?

Well, just got back. It was by far the most strenuous hike that either him or I had done. We only could do 3.2 miles; we were at 8k feet above sea level and we got super winded.
I hiked every other day there, with some much easier hikes, all around 3 or so miles.

I have tons, but I haven't converted them all to jpg. Bf and I took over 800 pics combined; we just deleted some and now we are down to 530 files. It's going to take me a while to convert the raw files to jpg.
