Default I kinda sorta fell off the wagon

I was really good for about a month, then when I could no longer afford a personal trainer, I just kinda sorta stopped going to the gym. I haven't gained any weight since May, but I haven't really lost any either. So yeah. School starts next week, I'll be working a couple jobs during that time, and I've been trying to go to the gym a couple times a week.

I just thought I'd check in. I'll be doing better, I swear it.

Well You more than likely picked up a couple things working with a trainer. Another good option is to see if your school has a weight lifting class. Also some schools if they have a kinesiology program have upper classmen who are in the kines program do personal training so they can gain experience in the field. That might be an option to check into. Most of the times it's free.

How often were you going to the gym when you were working with a trainer. It might be easy to set up something like you were doing before and set up a sort of deposit system, where if you miss your gym appointment you have to deposit $30 into your savings, and can't go out drinking that weekend. Or something fun you enjoy doing. A sort of reward and punishment set-up.

Welcome back on the wagon.. keep going. I think Josh's reward/punishment thing is a good plan.. I might need to think of how I can do something with it for myself.

It works extremely well. Especially if you are someone who frequents the bar a lot. Even making it $50 for a missed day. If you don't do your full workout because you're trying to speed it up pro-rate it. You'll be suprised on how much funds you lose that way. Which will result in your going and making sure you spend that time. Plus the health benefits is hard to beat. Just giving it a couple weeks and you have a solid habit.
