Thats odd that they say speeding up your metabolism yet not have you weight training.

Can you give me a run down on this plan your own. I really want to try to understand what they are having you do.

They say eat

4 servings of Veggies which are usually 1/2 a cup equals a serving
2 proteins (serving size depends on the meat its either 6 or 8 oz equal a serving)
1 Dairy - example is 8 oz glass of fat free milk
3 Fruits
2 Starches- equal to about 2 slices of bread a day
1 Fat - 1 tsp of butter
8 glasses of water.
Thats it
Exercise is optional, but I want to! haha They said no weight training because Im already a very muscular girl and she said what will likely happen is if I weight train I will be shedding the lbs but gaining the lbs back in muscle weight.

Muscle is more dense than fat though. I think weight training would actually speed up the process of losing your body fat as well as toning your body and speeding up your metabolism.

Anyways write down what you've been eating daily and post it up.

crohns.

Crohn’s disease is an ongoing disorder that causes inflammation of the digestive tract, also referred to as the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Crohn’s disease can affect any area of the GI tract, from the mouth to the anus, but it most commonly affects the lower part of the small intestine, called the ileum. The swelling extends deep into the lining of the affected organ. The swelling can cause pain and can make the intestines empty frequently, resulting in diarrhea.

Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease, the general name for diseases that cause swelling in the intestines. Because the symptoms of Crohn’s disease are similar to other intestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome and ulcerative colitis, it can be difficult to diagnose. Ulcerative colitis causes inflammation and ulcers in the top layer of the lining of the large intestine. In Crohn’s disease, all layers of the intestine may be involved, and normal healthy bowel can be found between sections of diseased bowel.

cliffs: it hurts, and its hard to eat.

I have had friends and patients go through life suffering with this disease. Some have found relief using marijuana, although I would never promote anything illegal. many people have surgeries to resect portions of the intestines that have the trouble and that leads to other complications.

Hang in there Sam.
