why would you want to? seriously, set a goal, like a 5K or a sprint tri and train for it. if your body wants under 175, then that's where it is supposed to be. if you want more meat, then eat protein and lift weights.

Holy crap, I noticed my post above, and I am now down to 185. I think I am going to go to the mall and try on some 34" pants just for fun. BTW, BMI for my hieght 6"0" is 165 so, technically I am still a little overweight, which I can see. But damn it is great to be so light again.

Can you guys give me suggestions for healthy snacks to eat throughout the day between meals, I'm trying to get back into my 6 meals a day plan but need ideas of healthy snacks that will keep me full between meals and I won't get sick of. I used to snack on almonds, but they also have a lot of calories so the lower the calories the better, thanks.

I've also been noticing that in some ways I'm starting to slip off my habits-I haven't gone back to my old way of eating but now my train of thought has gone from "I need to eat healthy to lose weight" to "One bad meal during the week isn't going to make you gain back all the weight, don't worry". For the past couple months I've just had a system of one or two bad meals on the weekends, then starting Monday I'd go back to my routine, now it's becoming harder, I think mainly because I'm getting bored of eating the same healthy food. I'm still losing weight though.

One thing I do for a decent, filling snack is a pack of oatmeal. I usually shoot for the sugar free or Quaker has one called Weight Control which is pretty similar. *shrug*

I know what you mean with the going off one or two meals a week. It seems so harmless but before you know it, it becomes a routine. I used to eat out A LOT because it was so convenient but I took some time and I looked up different places menus and nutritional values of items so I know that if I need to stop or if a friend wants to go out to dinner or something, I know what I "can" order.

Just thought I'd update...currently at 182 pounds and hoping to break 180 in the next 3 weeks. I have just been eating healthy (chicken breast, tuna, multi-grain bread, egg whites, etc.) and working and running 5 days a week. I want to try getting into mountain biking for another cardio activity so I won't always have to do my cardio on the treadmill/elliptical. I let my self have one bad meal a week so I don't go crazy and it works out fine and doesn't seem to have any negative effect on my weight.
