Default Total Body Workouts

There has been a lot of questions arising from the topic of total body workouts, I will post a couple great examples and with some work you can tweak them to make the best workout possible for yourself. Before we dive to deep though I felt it would be appropriate to discuess some of the physiologcal effects of a total body workout.

Training stimues produced by heavy resistance training which is is persists 2 - 3 days does is not enchanced by daily training. Daily high intensity has a big role in cumulative fatigue and a big decrease in performance. At least 1 rest day should be incorperated in between sessions to allow for a full recoery, and to adapt to training stimulus ( GAS = general adaptation syndrome). It is very important to give yourself time to grow before fatiguing again.

Total Body Workouts No > 3 times a week.

You don't gain strength while you are working out; you gain strength while resting and recovering.
