Default body fat tester

I had this one

Amazon.com: Omron HBF-306C Fat Loss Monitor: Health & Personal Care

but i lost it. Do you think I should get this

Amazon.com: Omron HBF-400 Body Fat Monitor and Scale: Health & Personal Care

or should i upgrade to this

Amazon.com: Omron HBF-500 Body Composition Monitor with Scale: Health & Personal Care

Or just get the one I originally had?

the one you had wasn't a scale, so I'd upgrade. but i am a toy nut. I would spend the $70 for the 500

I've always liked Omron, I especially like the handheld version.

It measures the resistance through body tissue. There are many factors that you need to check out though. For the price it's well worth it. There is a 3% error margin though.

I have a Tanita scale and it has a noticeable range depending on the time of day that I measure ( I think due to water in my system).

I don't look at it as 100% accurate, but a close gauge as to how I'm doing..(or not doing)

Hydration plays a big role in body fat analysis from impedance.
