Default Post Your Dumbell Workouts

I've found there is quite the different muscle groups and workouts you can do with a simple pair of dumbells.

Let's hear what you do, how you do it, and how much weight you do it with.

I was going to post this in a weight lifting section, but I figure this includes both men and women.

Start off with the shoulder press, and only 20kg each arm :(

I pretty much live or dumbells

My lower body work out starts with a nice step up on a bench with dumbells usually 40# I'd do a set of 20 and then move onto the other leg. From there I would go into a a one leg squat having one leg on the bench set of 15, 12, 8 alternating back and forth after each set is done with the other leg. I would then do walking lunges with a shoulder press when coming up and on the way back on the walking lunge I would do a bicep curl coming up. I would do these along the length of the group ex room. From there I would do squats on a bench where I come just above the seat and hold for a second of two and come up nice and slow. This would be a nice resting period where I would do some bridged and one leg bridges after those I would go into some jump squats holding the weight shoulder level set of 12, 10, 6. After those I would do a set of alternative jumping lunges same set structure 12, 10, 6.

I do a lot of dumbell work. Standard chest dumbell exercises...concentration curls...kickbacks...shoulder presses and different shoulder raises. Thank god for dumbbells!
