Default workout at lunch, and then after work?

I go down to the gym with a friend at lunch, but he only wants to hang out for 30 minutes, which is cool, we also go eat, so that's another 30.

I really need to workout for an hour or and an hour fifteen or so.

Can I go down after work and put in another 45 on different body parts, or, am I pretty much cooked for the day and should just do something else like jogging or straight cardio?

In my complete, non-professional opinion, any working out is better than none. If you have the time to do it, and the energy to, then go for the extra 45.

..or maybe just rotate. Some days of the week go down for 45 more mins at the gym, and other days do the cardio instead.

My $0.02

I'm talking about doing 30 at lunch, and 45 after work...

Is that bad? dangerous? I would not do the same stuff I did at lunch...

I'm on a M-W-F-Sat rotation now... Friday as light day, Saturday I want to push it...

Yeah, Im saying if you have the energy for it, I wouldn't say that it would be a terrible thing. When I was more into my workout routine a month or two back, I used to be working out everytime I was in my apartment (dumbells, crunches, pushups). If I was watching tv, I'd get up and do workouts during commercials. I just got in the habit of trying to cram as much working out into my freetime as I could. Fun times..

I have no idea if this is good for a person.. but I saw my biggest results during that time. I know that much.

By all means, you don't want to kill yourself. You need a healthy amount of fitness.. don't burn yourself up. But that point of too much varies from person to person.

You could do a nice circuit within that time with a weight heavy enough that you can keep the correct form. Hit up some big muscle groups involving multi joint exercises. Let me know if you need some suggestions.

If there is a circuit, you could hit that, then after work pick a body part. Most professional bodybuilders do split trainings.

Or you might try some athletic activity after work. I always overdo everything. But back in the day, i would do cardio, then weights, then stretch, then at night come back and train karate for a couple hours. With, of course, bicycle all day
