sprinting
well today i did my first set of sprints and my quads are burning... but i was reading the forums again earlier and came upon something that i always knew but never really gave any thought to. to burn fat you typically have a lower heart rate than a cardio workout... yet any sort of elevated heart rate will help you shed the fat. i don't remember which thread, but someone said that sprinting helps shed the weight over lower abs better than normal running? how is this so if sprinting would yield a higher heart rate than a typical fat burn? please explain, oh wise guru's.
