Swimming for cardio..
So I have a pool at my apartment complex and would like to make it a habit of using it for exercise. It's not a complete straight olympic style pool, but I am able to swim back and forth from end to end in a straight line (technically diagonal in the pool).
Is there any information out there about how to get the best workout using swimming? I used to run on the beach everyday, but to be honest, I am more of a water guy.. I would rather be in the water and get a nice workout. Plus I think I'm working more of my traget muscles swimming than I do running, right?
