try doing them with 3lb weights for a few days just to get used to all of the moves, then up it to 5lbs for a week then make it your goal to use 8lbs or even 10lbs.

trust me, those videos from the 80s and 90s are awesome!!! i still use one that my sis recorded from espn way back in the day (its called buns in motion)
