I just bought a new pair of running shoes from Academy. NB 644. They fit well and are pretty light weight. So I get them home and decide to do a little research (after?)... come to find out they're called "the country walker"! WTH! Why were they on the running shoe isle? And why are they all fancy looking like a running shoe?!
Oh well, I only got them to wear to the gym and to get started running. Once my distance gets up to something that matters I'll go get fitted and buy some REAL running shoes. At the gym I only run for about 5 minutes on the treadmill to get warmed up, and I hope to start running on Saturday mornings... just a mile or two for now.
